<BR><br><br> That is the thing. Why dont they just make the movies a half hour longer and include everything. They could cover Tom fully in that timeframe. Long movies are great.. the people who havent read LOTR would like it, and the people who have would be more than pleased to see Tom and the hobbits inside his house. I personally looked forward to that part because I wanted to see the hobbits listening to Tom by the fire. And I have always wanted to see the hobbits dreams of that night. Writing down what is missing makes me miss it more.<br> <br> I dont know about you, but the lengthy talking scenes in LOTR always had me fixed, especially when someone like Tom was talking. <p>"Many that live deserve death.
