Congratulations to all who made it, and I must say I'm absolutely amazed with Naz. Good going!

I, alas, fell 28 miles short of the goal on the appointed day but I shan't stop. Just because I was a little late I shall continue, thanks to Strider's unusual patience... or... is it very usual? This little hobbit still doesn't understand Strider, I'm afraid!

I do mean to walk all the way to Orodruin and perhaps back. However, I could ride home again by doubling whatever amount of mileage I gained in a day. Yet the journey home doesn't need to be considered yet. First, Rivendell!
