What is going on with this site?

It's almost unusable, at least from my end - I have to endlessly refresh every page since it keeps giving me "Resource limit reached" message: I encountered this before, but never with such intensity as in the last week or so.

Hi Mithadan! I haven't updated my account in almost 10 years, and can't seem to update it due to 'anti-spam' prompt, which I don't remember.

I'd also like to change my profile picture.

Mithadan, I would like to make an announcement that _Laughter in Middle-earth: Humour in and around the Works of JRR Tolkien_ has just been published. I'm a co-editor and contributor.

However, I'm not sure where to put it--N&N, Books, or the BD forum for community news. Estelyn's _Music in Middle-earth_ was stickied in N&N, but that was when this was a busier board. I'm not sure that's necessary now. There is also a group page on FB to discuss the book.

Do you have any suggestions? Bethberry

Since I have been lately heavily involved in the project (TftH), and I hope I have not been too intrusive (and would like to post some chapters of the Silm. I have already finished and tidied up - for my own heart's content).

In any case I would like to have an access to the private forum.
